Jupiter Hills Club in Tequesta, Florida, seeks an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join the Agronomy Leadership Team and support operations on the Village Course. The successful candidate will contribute to budgeting, championship prep, and future capital projects while collaborating with our 36-hole operation and preparing for major USGA events.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in turfgrass or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of management experience at a high-quality facility.
• Florida experience beneficial but not required.
• Valid pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and modern golf course management software.
• Desire to advance within the profession toward superintendent.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the daily management of golf course maintenance operations across Jupiter Hills’ 36-hole facility.
• Lead, train, and develop team members while fostering professionalism and accountability.
• Participate in championship turfgrass management including fertility programs, plant protectants, cultural practices, and IPM.
• Assist with irrigation management, moisture management programs, and precision water application strategies.
• Support spray operations including inventory management, calibration, recordkeeping, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate daily assignments and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to club standards.
• Assist in producing the firm, fast playing conditions synonymous with the Jupiter Hills experience.
• Utilize modern agronomic technologies and performance analytics for decision making.
• Assist in planning and execution of capital improvement projects and long-range initiatives.
• Maintain the highest standards of workplace safety and employee development.

Assistant Golf Course Superintendent Jupiter Hills Club

Jupiter Hills Club is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join the Agronomy Leadership Team at our 36-hole facility in Tequesta, Florida.

We are seeking a motivated leader who is passionate about producing world-class conditions and developing people. The successful candidate will primarily support operations on the Village Course while collaborating across Jupiter Hills’ 36-hole operation and contributing to preparation for the 2027 USGA Mid-Amateur Championship and the club’s anticipated 2028 Village Course renovation.

This is a hands-on leadership position requiring both technical expertise and the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire a diverse team toward a common goal. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, embraces responsibility, and aspires to become a Golf Course Superintendent.
