Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus three years of relevant experience in golf course equipment mechanics.
• Must be at least 18 years old, per Florida labor laws.
• Valid driver’s license and comfort operating golf course vehicles.
• Working knowledge of electric and gas-powered carts, engines, and hydraulics.
• Meticulous attention to detail and upholding high quality standards.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical defects in golf course vehicles and equipment.
• Assist the Equipment Mechanic in prioritizing repair and maintenance tasks.
• Perform preventative maintenance and adjust engines, cutting mechanisms, and related components.
• Sharpen mowing equipment with grinders and maintain cutting precision.
• Ensure all equipment is fueled, lubricated, and ready for action.
• Train maintenance staff on proper use of new equipment.
• Maintain an organized inventory of parts and order items as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Support the Agronomy Team with mowing and other tasks as needed.
• Contribute to upkeep of high-quality course equipment and facilities.
