The basketball team competes in the MMAC and is a member of the Michigan High School Athletic Association. OEAS takes pride in student-athlete participation and the development of high levels of performance, accountability, and responsibility in the classroom and on the playing fields.

The coach must demonstrate strong leadership in player and staff development, sportsmanship, integrity, and character development.
