Bass Pro Shops is seeking an Assist General Manager of Restaurants to partner with the Market Manager-Restaurant in leading the overall operations of the dining experience. The role emphasizes world-class service, SOP adherence, and staff development in a full-time environment.

The incumbent will drive financial and operational goals, manage staffing, and ensure safe, sanitary experiences for guests, with a starting pay range of $80,000 to $96,600 per year.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• ServSafe certification required.
• 5+ years of restaurant management experience in casual dining or casual plus settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist Market Manager-Restaurant in delivering world-class customer service and a pleasant dining experience.
• Monitor KPI performance and address variances with Market Manager-Restaurant.
• Manage staffing and shift assignments; assist in hiring and training Outfitters.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and SIPs; uphold safety and sanitation standards.
• Make sound decisions; model leadership for the team.
• Learn new tasks and technologies.
• All other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Assist General Manager of Restaurants is a fully functioning expert in all processes and positions, in partnership with and in the absence of the Market Manager-Restaurant. Assists in leading the overall operations of restaurant.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assists Market Manager-Restaurant in supporting Bass Pro Shops commitment to delivering world class customer service and to ensuring a pleasant, safe and productive dining experience for all guests. Conducts regular table visits, resolves customers complaints in a timely manner.

• In partnership with Market Manager-Restaurant, champions the team to execute and achieve financial goals and operational plans.Monitors actual results on a continuous basis to determine variances, discusses those variances with Market Manager-Restaurant to properly assess KPI performance and react appropriately.

• Manages staffing levels and shift assignments; assists in hiring and training Outfitters. Develops and holds the team accountable to standards.

• Ensures that in both the FOH and BOH, all operational basics, standards, SOPs, and SIPs are adhered to with total commitment and passion by providing direction and guidance to employees.

• Enforces safety and sanitation procedures.

• Exercises good judgement and making the right decisions; being a role model within restaurant.

• Learns new tasks, systems and technologies.

• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Certificate(s) or License(s): ServSafe

• Experience: 5+ years of prior restaurant management experience; full casual dining or casual plus

Starting Pay Rate: $80,000.00 - $96,600.00
