Job summary

BAC Transportation LLC seeks an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager and steer daily operations. The role blends leadership with technical fluency, overseeing financial reporting, analytics, and system improvements across departments.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking, while maintaining controls and compliance. The position requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a proactive, service-oriented mindset in a dynamic transportation

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required; higher education in business or related field preferred.
• Minimum seven years of progressively responsible leadership experience in a similar management role.
• Experience preparing financial reports, budgets, forecasts, operational analytics, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and analytics.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, reporting tools, and cloud-based systems.
• Experience with accounting software, payroll systems, scheduling software, CRM platforms, GPS systems, or similar enterprise apps.
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations across multiple departments and translate strategic goals into measurable results.
• Lead, coach, and mentor managers and teams to achieve KPIs and operational excellence.
• Develop dashboards, KPI reports, and BI tools for leadership and stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial close processes; monitor expenses and profitability.
• Maintain data accuracy, internal controls, and compliance with company standards.
