Job summary

Barracuda Taco Stand is seeking an Assistant General Manager for our flagship Tchoupitoulas location. You’ll partner with the Store Manager to run daily operations, support a fast-paced service, and drive customer satisfaction.

This hands-on leadership role offers real ownership and growth opportunities within a growing neighborhood concept. You’ll help manage schedules, lead the team, and ensure safety and quality standards while engaging with guests and vendors to maintain Barracuda’s

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of management experience in a restaurant setting.
• Experience with staff scheduling and onboarding across multiple shifts.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Working knowledge of food and labor cost controls.
• Ability to stand for long periods and handle busy service periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations in a high-traffic store.
• Support team during service and manage shift schedules.
• Act as liaison between Store Manager Team, Operations, and vendors.
• Develop plans to improve efficiency and consistency at the store level.
• Oversee training and onboarding through the Certified Trainer Program.
• Maintain safety standards and cleanliness in the store.
• Communicate clearly to ensure transparency and accountability.
