Job summary

U-Haul in New York, Woodside, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead center operations and develop the team. You will handle day-to-day decisions, ensure excellent customer care, and support the General Manager. This role includes hands-on responsibilities and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Leadership experience required.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Manage and assign your team to ensure customers receive an excellent first impression and high quality of care.
• Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U‑Haul education through U‑Haul University.
