Compass Group USA’s Flik Hospitality team seeks an Assistant General Manager II to help run the day-to-day food service operation of a small to medium location in Los Angeles. You will lead a team of associates and oversee quality controls for the account.

The role requires 2–4 years of supervisory experience in food service, purchasing and operations management, financial acumen, and proficiency with MS Office. ServSafe is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of food service supervisory experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and related food service operations.
• Operations management experience with purchasing knowledge.
• Financial experience and business acumen.
• ServSafe Certification is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists with managing food service operations in accordance with the approved budget while providing the client with the maximum value for the dollars spent.
• Ensures the food offered to the client, customers, and employees of the operation is of superior quality.
• Maintains excellent relationships with employees, guests, and client as well as other departments within the operation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2 to 4 years of food service supervisory experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Operations management experience with purchasing knowledge.
• Financial experience and business acumen skills.
• ServSafe Certification is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
