Job summary

Bozzuto in Miami, FL is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead operations, drive occupancy, and deliver exceptional resident experiences. You’ll mentor staff, manage rent collection, and ensure the community reflects Bozzuto’s brand with a polished, guest-focused approach.

The role emphasizes frontline leadership, financial accountability, and a collaborative culture in a fast-paced apartment community environment.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• 4 year college degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience in property management, hospitality or retail.
• Exposure to rent collection processes, budgets and accounts receivable.
• Proficient with social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and a passion to create engaging content.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A sharp professional appearance.
• Competent with industry software (YARDI preferred) and related apps.
• Sales aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and uphold Bozzuto standards and culture.
• Contribute to financial objectives by collecting rent, posting receipts and managing delinquency.
• Achieve occupancy by conducting informative tours and securing new leases.
• Build brand loyalty and strive for resident retention with positive interactions.

• Mentor and coach team members when the GM is not present.
• Work weekends (two weekends per month) with two days off during the week.

As An Assistant General Manager, Your Primary Responsibilities Include

• Leading by example, living the standards and behaviors consistent with the core values and culture of Bozzuto
• Contributing to the achievement of established financial objectives by collecting resident rent, posting rental receipts and managing delinquency
• Achieving occupancy levels by conducting informative and personalized tours of the community which result in new leases
• Building brand loyalty and reaching resident retention goals by striving to ensure every resident interaction is positive
• Ensuring that the community’s interior and exterior are impeccable and the team appropriately represents the Bozzuto brand with a crisp, professional appearance
• Respectfully coaching and mentoring team members when the PM/GM is not present
• Working weekends when prospective residents are out looking for their new home, two weekends per month with two days off during the week

What You Bring To Us

This position is eligible for additional bonus opportunities.

Salary Range

$65,000—$70,000 USD
