Job summary

Trulieve seeks an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in leading store teams, overseeing inventory, and driving key performance metrics. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining regulatory compliance across store operations.

You will coach and develop a 40+ person team, manage labor budgets with the GM, ensure brand standards, and resolve patient issues while upholding confidentiality and high service standards. Hours are 40-45 weekly.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area is a plus.
• Must have prior cash handling experience.
• Must possess the ability to train, develop and evaluate a team of 40+ employees.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff; ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretion.
• Able to communicate in conversational English to work effectively with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment, comprehend safety procedures, and utilize telecommunication devices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent regulatory compliance with all state specific regulations.
• Review, communicate and ensure compliance with all company SOPs and work with the general manager and other leaders to assure that any changes are communicated to employees.
• Along with the General Manager, provide coaching, training, and development to the team that is focused on company service standards and accountability to meet specific objectives.
• Monitor and maintain store inventory.
• Responsible for handling and resolving patient issues and escalations when on duty.
• Maintain professional working relationships with business partners.
• Assist the General Manager in managing labor budget to meet the needs of the business.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance.
• Perform other tasks that have been assigned by management.

Role Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional customer experience.

Additional Minimum Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass an MVR background check (delivery locations only)
• Must be able to pass a level 1 and level 2 background check
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies
• Must be able to relate to and work with patrons of different ages, abilities, and patrons that at times are experiencing emotional distress, or displaying a hostile attitude

Physical Requirements

• Constantly required to move/traverse throughout entire facility, including tight spaces
• Accurately communicate and exchange sensitive information and ideas with others, including members of the public; observe/inspect details at varying ranges; operate computing devices
• Frequently required to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights (e.g., products, packaging, tools, office machinery): push/pull objects up to 50lbs; lift/carry/position objects up to 50 lbs.; ascend/descend stool/ladder/steps; position self and/or objects at floor level (e.g., crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl)
• Must have visual and auditory acuity with or without aids to perform all functions of the position
• Occasionally required to remain in a seated position

WORK SCHEDULE

40-45 hours weekly with flexible hours depending on store needs. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
