Job summary

Lifestyle Communities in Columbus, OH is seeking an Assistant General Manager for The Goat restaurant. You will support daily operations of Front of House and Back of House, ensuring outstanding service, safety, and operational compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in business management, ServSafe certification, and, where applicable, TABC certification; at least two years in a leadership role in hospitality, plus strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or similar area of focus desired.
• ServSafe certification from a nationally recognized organization required.
• TABC Certification where applicable
• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least two (2) years’ experience in a leadership role in the restaurant, bartending or hospitality industry.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to work with long periods of standing and walking throughout the dining room, kitchen, and service areas. In addition, employees will walk; handle food and beverage objects, reach and extend with hands and arms; talk and hear. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, crouching, and crawling; specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to focus.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to an restaurant environment, including a kitchen area.

Location and Travel: Position will be based in Columbus, OH with occasional travel to local and out-of-state markets.
