Job summary

BFS, America’s largest supplier of building materials, is hiring at our Monroe, WI location for an Operations Manager who will support the General Manager in achieving day-to-day excellence across production, sales, customer service, inventory, delivery, HR, safety and admin.

You will help lead the location, recruit and develop staff, manage budgets and drive initiatives to meet financial goals while upholding BFS's commitment to diversity, inclusion and a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and four-years (4) related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Experience in managing location operations including production, sales, customer service, inventory, delivery, HR, safety and administrative activities.

Responsibilities

• Assists the General Manager in achieving successful operations at a location.
• Plans and directs production, sales, customer service, inventory, delivery and administrative activities to meet goals.
• Provides direction to the management team and employees to ensure accomplishment of location objectives.
• Assists General Manager in recruiting, hiring, promoting, training and terminating employees.
• Assists in preparation of the location budget and annual reporting of the operation.
