Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking an Assistant General Manager in a fast-paced property setting. You lead by example, ensure exceptional resident experiences, and support the GM in driving occupancy and brand standards. You’ll handle rent collection, coach staff, and cover weekend shifts as needed.

The role emphasizes community engagement, professional presentation, and a hands-on approach to daily property operations in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience in property management, hospitality or retail.
• Exposure to rent collection processes, budgets and accounts receivable.
• Proficient with social media platforms and a desire to create engaging content.
• Strong communication and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to financial objectives by collecting rent and managing delinquency.

Primary Responsibilities

You’re a quick thinker and thrive in a fast-paced environment, yet your obsession for details positions you perfectly for this second in command role.

As an Assistant General Manager (AGM), your primary responsibilities include:

• Leading by example, living the standards and behaviors consistent with the core values and culture of Bozzuto
• Contributing to the achievement of established financial objectives by collecting resident rent, posting rental receipts and managing delinquency
• Achieving occupancy levels by conducting informative and personalized tours of the community which result in new leases
• Building brand loyalty and reaching resident retention goals by striving to ensure every resident interaction is positive
• Ensuring that the community’s interior and exterior are impeccable and the team appropriately represents the Bozzuto brand with a crisp, professional appearance
• Respectfully coaching and mentoring team members when the PM/GM is not present
• Working weekends when prospective residents are out looking for their new home, one to two weekends per month with two days off during the week

What You Bring to Us

• 4 year college degree or equivalent relevant experience
• 2+ years of experience in the property management, hospitality or retail industries
• Exposure to rent collection processes, budgets and account receivables
• Proficient in leveraging social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram and a passion to create and deliver engaging and distinctive content
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• A sharp professional appearance
• Competentwith industry software (YARDI preferred), apps and computer programs
• Sales aptitude

This position is eligible for additional bonus opportunities.

Salary Range

$64,149—$65,000 USD
