Job summary

Buc-ee's is coming to Gallaway, TN and seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead the store in the absence of the Store General Manager.

The role emphasizes managing a team, ensuring product quality, customer service, and compliance with safety and employment laws; requires a degree or relevant experience; salary around $125,000 plus benefits; expect 48-hour weeks, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Degree from college or university; or 1-2 years or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in job related field.
• Retail or management experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
• Prolonged walking and standing for 8-12 hours.
• Ability to work a schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties and responsibilities of the Store General Manager in their absence.
• Illustrate competent knowledge of various Point of Sale devices.
• Reconcile multiple shift reports.
• Resolve customer and employee issues quickly and professionally.
• Assign and inspect elements listed on shift duty list.
• Communicate professionally with the Store General Manager and employees.
• Assist the General Manager in recruiting, training, evaluating and managing employees.
• Ensure safety rules and regulations are followed.
• Accurate and rapid use of POS keyboards and devices.
