Job summary

DrinkPAK is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee the Fort Worth manufacturing facility, developing strategies to drive operational excellence across four can lines and liquid batching. The role focuses on lean methods, cost control, and high-speed operations in a fully on-site environment.

You will lead a team of managers and engineers, drive KPI improvements, ensure safety compliance, and implement automation initiatives to boost productivity and product quality.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of direct leadership in a large, complex manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proven ability to motivate teams and improve performance.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all 24/7 manufacturing activities for DP1 Santa Clarita.
  • Develop and execute a manufacturing strategic plan with process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing principles and other best practices to drive operational excellence.
  • Optimize resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to achieve production targets and cost-efficiency.
  • Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, ensuring cost control and efficient use of resources.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Monitor and improve KPIs related to safety, quality, productivity, and loss.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Promote a safe working environment and drive initiatives to minimize environmental impact.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes and procedures to meet quality standards.
  • Serve as liaison to supply chain, warehousing, maintenance, engineering, and quality leadership.
  • Communicate with senior leadership, provide updates on performance and opportunities.
  • Directly manage a team of manufacturing managers, supervisors, and leads.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.
  • Lead adoption of emerging technologies and automation to enhance processes.
