Stress-Free Auto Care in Carrollton, TX is seeking an Automotive Assistant General Manager who blends hands-on automotive expertise with strong leadership. This role focuses on guiding a team of technicians, collaborating with service advisors, and ensuring top-tier guest satisfaction in a fast-paced shop.

You will mentor technicians, perform advanced diagnostics, manage schedules, and uphold safety and quality standards while driving efficiency and profitability in a modern, tech-enabled

Qualifications

• Prior experience as an Automotive Mechanic/Technician demonstrating strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
• Excellent problem solving and diagnostic skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment to meet or exceed hourly goals

Responsibilities

• Supervising and guiding a team of automotive technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
• Performing advanced diagnostic tests and repairs on vehicles, serving as a mentor and resource for junior technicians.
• Providing technical guidance and training to enhance the skills and capabilities of team members.
• Collaborating closely with service advisors to ensure clear communication and understanding of customer vehicle concerns.
• Overseeing the scheduling of repairs and maintenance jobs to optimize shop productivity and meet customer expectations.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Conducting performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback to team members.
• Resolving escalated customer issues and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Keeping abreast of industry trends and advancements in automotive technology
