Job summary

The senior lawyer will be the second lawyer on the team, reporting to the General Counsel, and will shape the legal function as Gauntlet scales. You will own high‑volume contracting while guiding product, engineering, and governance decisions to balance growth

• Strong commercial contracting experience with a high volume of varied agreements.
• Breadth across several legal areas and ability to get up to speed quickly.
• Experience building templates, playbooks, and processes that make routine legal work easier.
• Chance to be the second senior lawyer and shape the legal function as the company grows.
• Work closely with the General Counsel and company leadership with meaningful ownership.
• Build processes, tooling, and ways of working from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Own commercial contracting end to end: client and institutional agreements, partner and protocol arrangements.
• Advise Product and Engineering on onchain product design, turning legal constraints into practical guidance.
• Cover the wider legal docket alongside the GC, including corporate, governance, equity, employment, IP, privacy, and regulatory work.
