What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Serve as a versatile legal advisor across the employer's business units, addressing commercial, product, compliance, and corporate needs
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including customer, vendor, partnership, marketing, and technology contracts
- Provide guidance on financial technology law matters, privacy, intellectual property, and corporate governance
- Support product teams in aligning development and go‑to‑market strategies with relevant laws
- Collaborate with Compliance and Risk teams to implement regulatory requirements and update policies
What is Required (Qualifications)
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and active membership in at least one state bar
- 4‑7 years of legal experience, ideally with both law firm and in‑house practice
- Broad‑based legal experience with the ability to identify issues across commercial contracts, corporate, employment, and regulatory domains
- Strong judgment and business acumen to balance legal risk with business priorities
- Excellent communication skills and a practical, solution‑oriented approach
