Qualifications

• Manage regulatory compliance, clinical operations risk, contracting, medical staff matters, and enterprise projects.
• Lead enterprise initiatives and support governance and strategy across the THR system.

The AGC has the following duties and responsibilities:

Represents and advises in all legal matters for THR hospitals, THPG, or other THR System Services departments. Handles a wide range of legal responsibilities as assigned. Assists with interpretation and application of State and Federal rules.

Participate as a member and/or attend various committees and/or meetings.

Experience

• 7 Years Legal experience Required
• 5 Years Legal experience in specialty area of position Required
• Healthcare Law experience is Strongly Preferred

The primary focus of work experience in the hospital/health care industry should includeHospital operations. Medical malpractice experience isnotrelevant to this position.

Licenses and Certifications

• JD - Juris Doctor by State Bar of Texas with in 6 Months of hire Required

Skills

• Strong academic credentials, excellent writing and speaking skills, ability to relate to all levels of personnel within THR as well as medical staff members.
