Job summary

Coventry High School in Coventry, Rhode Island is seeking an Assistant Football Coach to support the program with drills, conditioning, and day-to-day duties for practices and games. This is an after-school/evening, 1-year renewable position.

Applicants should have at least 5 years of coaching experience at the middle school level or higher, be CPR/First Aid/AED certified, and have completed the NFHS Concussion Course.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of coaching experience at middle school level or higher preferred.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certified and NFHS Concussion Course completed.
• National BCI fingerprint submission required prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Run drills and conditioning during practices and games.
• Teach and reinforce football skills and techniques.
• Maintain knowledge of Interscholastic League rules and regulations.
• Fulfill day-to-day duties as assigned for after-school/evening sessions.

Job Description

Assistant Football Coach at Coventry High School

5 years coaching at the Middle school level or higher preferred.

All Coach duties to include, but not limited to, day to day running of drills and conditioning at practices and games; must have knowledge of rules and regulations of Interscholastic League play; knowledge of the skills and techniques of the sport and the ability to teach those skills and techniques; ability to impart to youthful athletes a sense of achievement essential to the enjoyment of the sport. This is a 1 year, renewable position.

Applicants need to be CPR/First Aid/AED Certified and have completed the NFHS Concussion Course. Applicants will need to submit a National BCI with fingerprints submitted to Human Resource prior to starting.
