EōS Fitness is seeking a highly motivated and sales driven leader to take on the role of Assistant Fitness Manager (Personal Training Sales). In this position you will conduct welcome workouts with new members, guide them through their initial fitness experiences at our gym, and help them get started with a personal training program. Reporting to the Fitness Manager, the Assistant Fitness Manager will play a crucial role in driving personal training sales and fostering member relationships by working closely with the membership and personal training team.
Position Purpose:
Build a cohesive Personal Training (PT) team, ensure a healthy pipeline of clients, and provide those clients and other members with an exceptional fitness experience.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure daily sales targets are met, especially during weekends or when the Fitness Manager is absent, by leading the team and driving sales initiatives.
- Drive sales by promoting personal training packages and building rapport with members.
- Achieve sales targets for personal training services and small group training sessions, consistently meeting or exceeding performance goals.
- Collaborate with the membership sales team to support new member onboarding, drive sales initiatives, and ensure a smooth transition into the club experience.
- Conduct personalized welcome workouts for new members to evaluate their fitness needs and goals.
- Guide new members through their initial club experience, fostering a positive, supportive environment that promotes personal training sales, member retention, and engagement.
- Facilitate professional development for personal trainers through regular coaching sessions and continuous support.
- Communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to staff members, ensuring everyone understands their roles and responsibilities.
- Supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, including equipment, locker rooms, and common areas.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain proper certifications, and implement safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of customer service experience.
- 1 year of sales experience.
- 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with members, personal training clients, employees, management, and vendors.
- Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with people at all levels and functions.
- Strong detail orientation; systematic and thorough approach to problem solving; good time management, organizational, and record‑keeping skills.
- Excellent MS Office skills.
- Experience or strong interest in the fitness industry is a plus.

Requirements:
- Must be available to work nights and weekends.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- Must have a valid Personal Training certification.
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to work in a gym setting, move about gym floors and rooms, and communicate with employees, members, and the public.
- Ability to bend routinely and repetitively to lift more than 40 lbs.
- Ability to access and operate the company computer system, including preparing documents, entering data, and reading reports.
Compensation:
HOURLY POSITION – ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION ELIGIBLE $16—$18 USD
