Position Purpose: Build a cohesive Personal Training team, ensure a healthy pipeline of clients, and provide an exceptional fitness experience for all members.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily sales targets are met, especially on weekends or when the Fitness Manager is absent, by leading the team and driving sales initiatives.
• Promote personal training packages and build rapport with members to drive sales.
• Achieve sales targets for personal training and small group training, consistently meeting or exceeding goals.
• Collaborate with the membership sales team to support new member onboarding and ensure smooth transition into the club experience.
• Conduct personalized welcome workouts for new members to assess fitness needs and goals.
• Guide new members through their initial club experience, fostering a supportive environment that encourages personal training sales, retention, and engagement.
• Facilitate professional development for personal trainers via regular coaching sessions and continuous support.
• Communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to staff, ensuring clear understanding of roles.
• Supervise maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, including equipment, locker rooms, and common areas.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining certifications and implementing safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 2‑3 years of customer service experience.
• 1 year of sales experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent relationship‑building and influencing skills across all levels.
• Strong attention to detail, systematic problem‑solving, and effective time management.
• Experience or strong interest in the fitness industry (preferred).

Requirements

• Availability to work nights and weekends.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Valid Personal Training certification.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work in a gym setting, lift more than 40 lbs, bend routinely, and operate computer systems.

Eligible for Additional Compensation

• Variable income opportunities including commission and bonus.
• Post‑training salary increase.

$19.90 – $21.90 USD per hour
