Farm Job Search seeks an Assistant Farm Manager for a 5,000‑acre family farm in Northeast Montana growing small grains and pinto beans. The role blends hands-on farming with supervision, requiring experience with modern John Deere and Caterpillar equipment, pivots, and GPS guidance.

Responsibilities include seeding, fertilizing, spraying, harvesting, and efficient water usage. Excellent salary commensurate with experience; benefits include housing and vacation.

Formación

• Must have farming and mechanical background.
• Familiar with newer John Deere, Caterpillar equipment; Valley Center Pivots and GPS.
• Experience seeding, fertilizing, spraying, harvesting, and water management.

Responsabilidades

• Seed, fertilize, spray and harvest crops on the 5000–acre farm.
• Manage water usage and irrigation planning for crops.
• Operate and maintain equipment and assist the owner as a working manager.
