Job summary

Cadence Petroleum Group, DBA Hoosier Penn Oil Company, is seeking an Assistant Facility Manager in Indianapolis, IN. You will report to the Facility Manager and help execute daily and short-term plans to meet operational goals within a fast-growing lubricant distribution business.

You will assist with warehouse staffing, route planning, loading/unloading, and ensuring safety, productivity, and customer service standards are maintained.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is preferred.
• Ability to effectively plan and monitor schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing warehouse associates, dispatch routes, and support delivery drivers.
• Work with the Facility Manager to plan, monitor and adjust schedules to ensure proper staffing.
• Manage inbound and outbound loading and unloading of trucks while maintaining warehouse organization and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain productivity, customer service and safety standards daily.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic computer programs.
• Provide superior customer service and maintain professional relations with customers and suppliers.
• Communicate objectives, policies, procedures, safety methods, etc. to employees.
• Apply knowledge of customer schedules, delivery times, traffic, and routes to increase route efficiencies.
• Load and unload products according to size of load and content description.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner to enhance the company image.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Reporting to the Facility Manager, this role is responsible for delivering and executing daily and short-term plans to achieve operational and business objectives.

Responsibilities:
