Job summary

Dallas Country Club is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager to lead service operations within our Sports Grill. This full-time role requires directing staff, ensuring quality, and maintaining exceptional member service in a private club environment.

You will train staff, manage daily outlets, and coordinate scheduling, floor plans, and reservations to guarantee smooth service. Experience in upscale dining and a strong work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• 3+ years food service or related hospitality management experience.
• TABC and Food handling certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training and motivation of staff menu/job knowledge and daily specials.
• Assume responsibility of daily operation of all assigned outlets.
• Assist in ensuring that scheduling functions are performed accurately and on a timely basis.
• Assist in maintaining a highly motivated and well-trained staff.
• Train, maintain and enforce all DCC service standards using records, menus, appropriate reference materials.
• Handle daily staff relations (e.g., scheduling, time adjustments).
• Assist with Management in gathering and implementing all proper tools for running shift (e.g., schedules, floor plans, reservations, checks).
• During shift, ensure that Members are satisfied by assisting with serving, seating, and communication with kitchen and by striving to speak to all members/guests.
• Be on the floor during entire meal period and ensure adequate coverage.
• Ensure that only a quality product is being served.
• Monitor hours and staffing daily for the dining room
• Ensure all side work is done on daily basis.
• Understand and teach empowerment principles to ensure member satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills, and knowledge:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• 3+ years food service or related hospitality management experience.
• TABC and Food handling certification required
