Qualifications

• Develop activity-specific knowledge and skills to instruct students.
• Some prior experience instructing or working with students.
• Positive, people-centered, and solution-focused attitude toward duties and students, staff, and others.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative relationships with others.

Responsibilities

• Organize and oversee assigned extracurricular activity, including practices and competitions, performances, or events.
• Supervise students during practices and events from arrival through departure, including times when students arrive early or wait for parents.
• Provide responsive instruction to continuously develop students' activity-specific knowledge and skills.
• Exemplify sportsmanship and instill it in students.
• Manage activity resources.
• Supervise and direct any assistant coaches, or instruct and guide students as directed by the coach.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
