Town and Country Resort in San Diego seeks an Assistant Executive Steward to lead a large stewarding team for banquets, multiple outlets, and back-of-house operations. You will oversee dishwashing, cleaning, waste management, and equipment handling while ensuring safety and sanitation compliance.

The role partners with Culinary, Banquets, and Engineering to deliver seamless events. Must be bilingual in Spanish and adept at scheduling and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in high-volume stewarding or kitchen operations, preferably in a hotel or convention environment.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, safety practices, and equipment handling.
• Ability to lead diverse teams with clarity, fairness, and accountability.
• A calm, solutions-first approach under pressure.
• Solid organizational skills and proactive scheduling.
• Flexibility with schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Bilingual in Spanish required.
