Assistant Executive Kitchen Manager
As an Assistant Executive Kitchen Manager, you will help lead our scratch kitchen, producing uniquely-inspired culinary items paired with Cooper’s Hawk wines. You will partner with the Executive Kitchen Manager to drive operational excellence and growth, coaching and inspiring team members to ensure high-quality food and an exceptional guest experience.

What You’ll Do
- Manage kitchen operations, including Kitchen Managers and Team Members, overseeing dish, prep, and line stations
- Adhere to policies, manage operating systems, and areas of responsibility
- Coordinate between kitchen and front of house operations
- Represent Cooper’s Hawk brand and values to foster a respectful, positive, and professional environment
- Manage personnel through hiring, scheduling, development, and side-by-sides with hourly team members
- Lead community meetings and coach managers
- Oversee kitchen training, food execution, menu rollouts, and system initiatives
- Conduct line checks, create prep lists, oversee supply ordering and inventory management
- Maintain expertise in food preparation and quality
- Assist with weekly inventory procedures
- Maximize financial and operational results
- Operate computer systems including POS, scheduling, inventory software, and Microsoft Office
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and food-safe work environment
- Uphold professional image as per Team Member Handbook
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need
- 2-3 years management experience in a full-service restaurant; scratch kitchen experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Financial acumen
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Preferred certifications include ServSafe and relevant licensing
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for at least 10 hours per shift
- Availability to work 50-60 hours per week, including weekends and holidays
