Job summary

Tri Scapes LLC in Alpharetta, GA, is seeking an ambitious Assistant Estimator to join our Estimating team. This role provides hands-on training and mentorship from experienced estimators while supporting plan measurements, material takeoffs, and document management for commercial landscape projects.

Qualifications

• Basic geometry, unit conversions, percentages, and numerical accuracy.
• Familiarity with construction drawings or landscape terminology is helpful.
• Willingness to learn estimating software and takeoff procedures.

Responsibilities

• Learn and assist with plan measurements and quantity takeoffs for planting, hardscape, irrigation, and site work.
• Review drawings, site details, and specs to ensure bid items are captured.
• Request quotes from nurseries, suppliers, and subcontractors and log pricing.
• Maintain organized digital bid files with drawings, quotes, unit costs, and correspondence.
• Support pre-bid activities by organizing site visit notes and calculations.
• Assist in transitioning won projects from estimating to field teams.
