Foundation Software is seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead engineers while staying close to architecture, design, and complex technical problem solving. This role suits an engineer transitioning to management (1–3 years) who wants to balance technical influence with delivery leadership.

You will build scalable cloud apps on Azure (with AWS as a plus), mentor teams, and collaborate across Product, QA, Architecture, Security, and DevOps to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives.
• Strong background in cloud-native architecture and modern application development.
• Passion for technical leadership and building high-performing engineering teams.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Interest in emerging technologies such as Generative AI is a plus.

Asst Engineering Manager (Hands-On Technical Leader)

At Foundation, we believe great engineering leaders stay close to the technology. We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager who enjoys leading engineers while staying close to architecture, design, and complex technical problem solving.

This role is ideal for an engineer who has recently stepped into management (1–3 years) and wants to continue developing as a hands-on technical leader, balancing architecture influence, team mentorship, and delivery leadership.
