Job summary

Hyatt is seeking an Assistant Director of Engineering to support the hotel’s operation and maintenance, overseeing both interior and exterior systems. The role requires hands-on leadership and strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical systems, with experience using HotSoS and PMS platforms.

The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and able to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to brand standards while working flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience with HotSoS and PMS systems.
• Strong technical knowledge in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Organized, hands-on leader ensuring safe, efficient operations and brand standards.

The Assistant Director of Engineering supports the overall operation and maintenance of the hotel, overseeing both the interior and exterior of the property. This role requires experience with HotSoS and PMS systems, along with strong technical knowledge in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical systems. The ideal candidate is an organized, hands-on leader who ensures the property operates safely, efficiently, and in line with brand standards. Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and holidays, is essential.
