The position will include performing structural design and analysis of environmental structures such as low-rise industrial buildings, pump stations, process basins, treatment facilities, dams, and spillways.
Design responsibilities will include computer-aided design, AutoCAD/Revit drafting/modeling, and full structural design per the governing building codes.
Experience in reinforced concrete, steel, and reinforced masonry preferred.
Candidates will also perform construction management tasks such as shop drawing review and field inspections.
Educational Requirements
The candidate must possess a BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering (structural concentration) from an ABET accredited institution achieved prior to beginning employment.
Prospective applicants must also possess or be progressing toward obtaining EI status via successful completion of the FE exam. In time, candidates will gain the experience and knowledge to obtain PE and/or SE professional license(s).
