Job summary

Acquire4Hire LLC is seeking an assistant teacher to support the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. You will help implement curriculum, coordinate activities, and assist with day-to-day operations while communicating effectively with children and families.

You will contribute to a cohesive teaching team, maintain records, and support ongoing professional development to ensure quality in early childhood education.

• Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
• Maintain a healthy classroom environment including hygiene and safety for children.
• Maintain accurate records, forms, and files.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to improve quality.

About This Role

The assistant teacher is responsible to assist the lead teacher to maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. The assistant also helps manage the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom, helps the lead teacher in developing a cohesive teaching team, assist with the curriculum, during instructional time. The assistant teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, and resolve parental concerns.
