Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Home Shopping Department Manager to lead daily fulfillment, ensure accurate orders, and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced store environment. You will manage high-volume digital order fulfillment, coordinate picking, packing, and delivery coordination, coach team members, and monitor performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a high-volume home shopping or e-commerce fulfillment team.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily operations of the Home Shopping Department, ensuring timely, accurate order fulfillment.
• Deliver an exceptional pickup/delivery experience while resolving customer concerns professionally.
• Coordinate end-to-end fulfillment processes including picking, staging, and delivery coordination.
• Ensure proper use of Home Shopping technology and handheld devices.
• Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, pick rates, on-time completion, and customer satisfaction.
• Create schedules aligned with order volume and productivity.
• Partner with department leaders to address inventory and out-of-stocks.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop Home Shopping associates.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards.

Main r esponsibilities :

• Oversee all daily operations of the Home Shopping Department, ensuring timely, accurate, and customer ‑ focused order fulfillment
• Deliver an exceptional pick ‑ up and delivery experience while resolving customer concerns, substitutions, and refunds professionally
• Coordinate end ‑ to ‑ end fulfillment processes including picking, staging, dispensing, and delivery coordination (where applicable)
• Ensure proper use of Home Shopping technology, handheld devices, and fulfillment systems
• Monitor key performance metrics such as order accuracy, pick rates , on ‑ time completion, labor efficiency, and customer satisfaction
• Create and manage schedules aligned with order volume, peak demand, and productivity expectations
• Partner with department leaders to address inventory availability and out ‑ of ‑ stocks impacting orders
• Hire, train, coach, and develop Home Shopping associates while fostering a positive, accountable team culture
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, quality, and company operational standards

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

• Strong customer ‑ service focus with excellent communication skills
• Effective people management , coaching, and team ‑ building abilities
• Strong organization, time management, and problem ‑ solving skills
• Ability to manage work in a fast ‑ paced, high ‑ volume environment

Competencies:

• Digital order fulfillment and pickup/delivery operations
• Labor planning, scheduling, and productivity management
• Performance metric tracking and continuous improvement
• Operational standards, food safety, and compliance execution

Knowledge:

• Retail, e ‑ commerce, or Home Shopping operations
• Store systems, handheld technology, and fulfillment platforms

Abilities:

• Ability to review performance data and take corrective action
• Ability to train, coach, and develop associates
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying temperature environments
