Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for instruction of daily workouts for the divers of the Kirkwood Swim and Dive Team at the Aquatic Center. Divers' ages are 5 to 18. Attends all dive team functions, including but not limited to practices, meets, and coach/parent meetings. Responsible for enforcing rules and maintaining safety and enjoyment for all dive team participants. Assists with facility setup and clean up for each home meet. Communicates frequently with participants, parents and team representatives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have experience diving at a competitive level.
  • Must be able to instruct diving basics.
  • Must be able to follow oral and written instructions and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills a plus.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Work is primarily done in an outdoor pool setting. Primarily scheduled in the mornings, with some evenings during the week. Expected to work approximately 10-20 hours per week; varying work schedule.
