State of Missouri’s Department of Transportation seeks an Assistant District Construction and Materials Engineer to coordinate district construction and materials activities, supervise staff, and provide technical support to resident engineers across the Southeast District. The role involves ensuring compliance with federal and departmental standards and directing project reviews and inspections.

Candidates must hold a MO-licensed PE, ABET-accredited engineering degree, and six years of

ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
Licensed as Professional Engineer in Missouri.
Six years of highway/transportation engineering experience.
OSHA 10-Hour Certification required within 90 days.

Mansioni

Coordinate and supervise construction and materials activities.
Provide technical support to resident engineers and ensure documentation meets requirements.
Perform district project and site reviews and inspections before project acceptance.
Review plans for constructability prior to letting.
Oversee district materials operations and supervise materials personnel and performance management.
Supervise quality control to ensure materials meet specifications.
