Job summary

Hilton is seeking an Assistant Director of Security to lead hotel safety and security operations, ensuring OSHA compliance and guiding incident investigations and emergency responses.

You will coordinate CPR and life safety training, oversee patrols, and liaise with authorities while developing a high-performing security team in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in safety and security operations with OSHA compliance.
• Ability to coordinate CPR, fire and life safety training programs.
• Experience supporting investigations and emergency responses.

Responsibilities

• Support safety and security operations: Assist the Director in overseeing all safety and security functions, including ensuring OSHA compliance, promoting safe work practices, and managing department systems, budgets, and policies.
• Oversee safety training: Assist in leading the coordination and administration of safety training programs, including CPR, fire and life safety, workplace violence prevention, and driver training
• Ensure property safety: Assist in directing security patrols of the hotel premises to identify and address safety risks, security threats, and undesirable conditions
• Support investigations: Assist in leading inquiries into accidents, thefts, property loss, and unlawful activities
• Direct emergency responses: Assist in leading responses to emergencies, including fires, medical incidents, and security threats
• Liaise with law enforcement: Act as a key contact for federal, state, and local authorities on security-related matters
• Inspire and develop the team: Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor team members; conduct performance evaluations, provide professional development opportunities, and recognize achievements to build a motivated and high-performing team
