Job summary

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support administration and management of Nursing Services for residents. You will work with the Director of Nursing to supervise the Nursing Services team around the clock and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company standards.

The role requires an RN license, 2+ years of supervisory nursing experience, and a degree in nursing.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as RN in the state in which you are practicing.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred.
• Two years of nurse supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and carry out the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents.
• Oversee 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services in partnership with the DON and direct the Nursing Department to meet quality standards.

In absence of the Director of Nursing (DON), the Assistant Director of Nursing | ADON | RN, assumes the responsibility for clinical operations.

What Will You Do in This Role?

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• Currently licensed as a RN in the state in which you are practicing
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
• Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
• Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role preferred
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
