Job Summary

The Registered Nurse or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) will support and manage Nursing Services for residents, following physician orders and resident needs. In partnership with the Director of Nursing, this role oversees 24-hour nursing supervision, ensuring quality standards per Federal, State, and Company regulations. In the absence of the Director, the ADON assumes clinical operations. Responsibilities include conducting nursing assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation under the State’s Nurse Practice Act. Principal Responsibilities

• Coordinate comprehensive care plans complying with physician orders and regulations.
• Communicate policies to staff and monitor practice adherence.
• Participate in admissions decisions and visit prospective residents as needed.
• Attend management meetings to discuss resident status, census, personnel, and concerns.
• Ensure delivery of compassionate, quality care with proper staffing, cleanliness, and resident safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in practicing state.
• Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• At least 2 years of nursing supervisory experience; 5 years in long-term or acute care preferred.
