Job summary

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) / LPN to support the DON in managing Nursing Services for our residents at Carnegie Village Senior Living Community. You will participate in 24-hour supervision, guide the Nursing Department to uphold quality standards, and step in for the DON when needed.

The ideal candidate is a licensed LPN with LTC/ SNF experience and 2+ years in nurse supervision; strong communication and professional presentation are

Qualifications

• Licensed as an LPN in the practicing state.
• Prior experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred.
• Two years of nurse supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and carry out the administration and management of Nursing Services.
• Oversee 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards.
• In absence of the DON, assume responsibility for clinical operations.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As an Assistant Director of Nursing | ADON | LPN, you will be responsible for supporting and carrying out the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and total needs of the residents. In partnership with the Director of Nursing (DON), you will be responsible for the 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current Federal, State and The Company standards, guidelines, and regulations. In absence of the Director of Nursing (DON), the Assistant Director of Nursing | ADON | LPN, assumes the responsibility for clinical operations.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• Currently licensed as an LPN in the state in which you are practicing
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
• Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
• Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role preferred
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
