AVIR Health Group in Texas is seeking a qualified Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in clinical management and staff development. This role focuses on resident and family-centered care and building a high-performing nursing team.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Nurse License.
• Valid CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related healthcare program.
• Infection control and prevention knowledge.
• Knowledge of long-term care standards (Federal Register, CoPs, and State regulations).

Responsibilities

Qualifications for Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) :

• Valid Texas Nurse License.

• Valid CPR Certification.

• Minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program.

• Education, training, experience, or certification in infection control and prevention.

• Must possess knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in the Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations.
