Stonebridge Companies in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking an Assistant Director of Engineering to support hotel maintenance by supervising the engineering team, managing HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and energy controls, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely.
You will work with the Chief Engineer, coordinate with Housekeeping and Security, oversee preventative maintenance and inventory, and ensure compliance with standards to deliver a high level of guest satisfaction.

Reports to: Chief Engineer Supervises: Engineering Department Job Summary: The Assistant Director of Engineering supports the maintenance operations of the hotel by supervising maintenance staff, managing systems like refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and energy controls, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and on time. This role assists the Chief Engineer and ensures compliance with maintenance standards to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
Work involves both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to varying temperatures. Frequent walking, standing, and lifting of objects up to 50 lbs. Exposure to noise and vibration from mechanical equipment during maintenance tasks. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required, with potential on-call responsibilities for emergencies.
