Black Rocket is looking for a dynamic leader to join our team! TheAssistant Director’s primary role is to ensure high levels of customersatisfaction in all of Black Rocket’s enrichment and educationprograms. These programs include courses across multiple STEM domains,with a focus on technology. This position requires someone with theability and experience to effectively manage people and projects in avariety of areas. Some out of state travel is required. The AssistantDirector is required to be at Black Rocket headquarters in Freehold,New Jersey as needed (up to once per month).

As the Assistant Director, you will play a key role in ensuring thatour customer satisfaction and quality goals are met. You will be partof the team that is responsible for the development, administration,and operation of nationwide summer enrichment programs.Responsibilities include recruiting and training of teachers,scheduling of classes, and providing customer support with sitevisits. The role calls for a diverse set of skills in recruiting,customer relations, and planning.
In the off season, the Assistant Director may support either thesales or curriculum development teams.
The ideal candidate is a driven self-starter who takes ownership oftheir work, while incorporating feedback from key stakeholders. THeybring a flexible, can-do attitude to shifting priorities and naturallylook for creative solutions when obstacles arise. Candidates may befrom a field in Education, such as K-12, Ed Tech, or Youth Enrichment,or similar industry.
Candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience, with atlast two of those years in a supervisory or management position.
Additional Educational Certifications, such as Supervisor orSchool Leader Experience with summer camp enrichment or youthprograms a plus!
Proficiency with database systems and their basic functions(Examples would be CRM, ATS, scheduling software, accountingsoftware, etc.)
Experience with online learning management systems
Knowledge of curriculum development theory and best practices
Ability to seek and write Grants or RFPs

Bachelor’s degree required, Master's preferred.

Pay based on experience: $67,000 - $80,000 annual base pay withadditional pay for profit sharing bonuses
