Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking a Child Care Assistant Director to support the Center Director in daily operations, administration, and educational programming at our early childhood center. You will mentor teachers, welcome new families, and drive center success in line with our high standards.

You will lead program quality, ensure licensing and safety compliance, and manage staff scheduling. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, collaboration, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Background checks required by state and company.
• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, education, or child development related field.
• At least two years of leadership experience in high-quality child care, daycare, or preschool.
• Strong understanding of center quality, compliance, health, safety and licensing standards.

Responsibilities

• Uphold mission, culture, and values to ensure an inclusive environment and strong relationships with families, staff, and clients.
• Monitor program quality, ensuring children’s learning is documented and visible.
• Ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation standards, health and safety protocols, and company policies.
• Schedule/Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
