The Big 12 Conference Inc. is seeking an Assistant Director of Creative Video & Social Content in Irving, TX to lead video production and social strategy. The role focuses on producing engaging video content for major events and maintaining robust social media channels across multiple platforms.

You will guide campaigns, coordinate with member schools and external partners, and manage the content calendar while staying current with social trends and analytics.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree paired with minimum Group of 5 Experience. Power 5 Experience preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience with social media management.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects).
• Strong organizational and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain & grow social media accounts for the Big 12 on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, and other platforms.
• Produce and distribute short form & long form video content as the main focus across social channels.
• Develop and execute social media strategy and manage content calendar for video needs.
• Create and implement social media plans for daily needs, championships, events and campaigns.
• Collaborate with internal departments, schools, host cities and committees to develop campaigns and promote events.
• Lead video creation with external partners including agencies, sales/partnerships & institutions.
