Job summary

One Hope United in Aurora, IL is seeking an Assistant Director to help lead our ELCD program with a focus on quality early education and family partnership. The role involves supporting the center's marketing, enrollment, curriculum, accreditation, and budget management, while ensuring staff development and compliance with regulatory standards.

You will partner with the Child Development Director to recruit and retain staff, monitor program outcomes, and maintain a supportive, inclusive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ECE or related field is required.
• Director Level 1 credential or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire is required.
• Two years of professional experience working with children in a childcare or school setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the development and implementation of the center’s marketing plan and activities.
• Enrolling children to ensure that openings are filled in a timely manner
• Implementing the education program, to ensure compliance with regulatory, funding, and accrediting agency requirements
• Working with the director to solicit feedback about the program from families and staff on an annual basis, and develops a program improvement plan based on such results
• Managing staff and program expenses to enrollment
