Job summary

Whosonthemove is seeking an Assistant Director of Intramurals at the University of South Carolina Upstate in Spartanburg. This role will provide strategic oversight for the Intramural Sports and Camp Programs while fostering a culture of student engagement and well-being.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Student Services or a bachelor’s degree with relevant experience. This position offers a salary range of $44,296 – $45,900, dependent on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Student Services or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the Intramural Sports Program.
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff focused on service excellence.
• Oversee USC Upstate Sparty’s Kids Camp Program.
• Manage facility operations and ensure participant safety.
• Assist in promoting Student Affairs initiatives.
