Job summary

Mississippi Valley State University seeks an Assistant Director of Student Leadership and Engagement to support campus life and co-curricular programming. Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Highly organized with knowledge of student programming, advising student organizations and event planning/management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheets and scheduling software and website management preferred.
• The successful candidate will be a team-player and committed to the goals of OSLE and MVSU.

Responsibilities

• Advise one to two governing councils – IFC and/or NPHC.
• Train and supervise work-study students and interns who support campus life and fraternity/sorority activities.
• Oversee programming by OSLE-sponsored activities, Intramural Activities, and Greek life including recruitment and education.
• Coordinate growth, development of the fraternity/sorority community and potential new chapters.
• Develop and implement a marketing plan for the Office of Student Leadership and Engagement.
