Job summary

Liberty Mutual is seeking a seasoned professional to own the end-to-end rollout of personal auto pricing programs for assigned states. You will gather requirements, communicate with stakeholders, and act as the SME on pricing, guiding state decisions and corporate strategy.

You will lead cross-functional workstreams, manage complex projects, and conduct in-depth analyses to inform business choices, while partnering with IT and business teams to implement the vision.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in mathematics, economics, statistics, or other quantitative field
• Minimum 6 years relevant work experience, typically 8 years
• PhD or equivalent research beneficial
• Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, Emblem)
• Must have strong planning, organizational, analytical, decision making and communication skills
• Experience managing projects preferred

Responsibilities

• Fully own and execute on assigned states' end-to-end rollout of the latest personal auto insurance pricing programs.
• Gather and document product requirements, clearly communicate requirements to stakeholders, and ensure accurate implementation.
• Act as the subject matter expert for the pricing program and assigned states, provide thoughtful recommendations that influence state decisions and help drive corporate strategy.
• Lead cross-functional workstreams and manage moderate to high complexity projects.
• Conduct complex analyses to drive and support business decisions; where necessary, conduct in-depth research of competitor offerings and filings.
• Educate IT partners on business vision and plan, and both IT and business partners on the impact of changes.
• Independently manage project timelines, flag risks and develop contingency plans, escalates blockers as appropriate.
• Regularly update leadership and stakeholders on project progress, addressing concerns and managing communication channels.
• Lead job shadow discussions with less experienced analysts. Provides technical training and user support to business groups.
