Job summary

California Western School of Law (CWSL) seeks an Assistant Director of Institutional Advancement & Alumni Engagement to support fundraising, donor stewardship, and alumni engagement. Reporting to the Executive Director, the role advances the law school's mission through annual giving campaigns, communications, and engagement programs.

The candidate should be strategic, organized, and capable of collaborating with alumni, donors, students, volunteers, and partners to build meaningful connections

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and relevant fundraising experience.
• Three years of fundraising experience in higher education or nonprofit focusing on annual giving.
• Willingness to travel to local, regional and international events.

Responsibilities

• Administer a multi-channel annual giving program with donor segmentation.
• Manage a portfolio of donors and solicit donations up to $5,000.
• Develop strategies to engage 3Ls and young alumni.
• Engage with Student Organizations to support fundraising and ensure policy compliance.
• Support programs developed by clinics, centers, and other departments.
